We are SO excited to have appointed Sascha Randle to take the reigns in our kitchen at Epocha. Sascha did her tour of duty at Melbourne’s finest including a career defining move to work with Philippe Mouchel at Langton’s in the late 90’s.
After a stint assisting with the opening at Verge and then two years at the Venetian with Joe Vargetto until 2003 Sascha reunited with Philippe and worked with him through his days at The Brasserie and as Head Chef at PM24. More recently Sascha was Andrew McConnell’s Head Chef at the Builder’s Arms and subsequently at Young Bloods Diner in Fitzroy.
Sascha has an emotional connection with food and still recalls many early childhood memories of watching her Oma in the kitchen. Some of her fondest memories are of her family coming to sit around the table to share, eat and laugh.
